Comet McNaught shines in the early evening sky

During the twilight skies of early January, Comet McNaught has been shining brighter than any comet in 30 years!

I was blessed enough to have the opportunity to have 2 straight evenings of relatively clear skies to view the comet.

I viewed the comet on both January 9th and 10th, and the difference in brightness between the two evenings was astounding.

On the evening of January 10th, the coma was brighter, and the tail quite a bit longer than the evening before.
